The highlight of this week was probably the ward Christmas party. The
ward had a lot of people come, and the primary sang a few songs.
Afterward, everyone else sang a few more songs. For most of the time I
got to talk to a really friendly man from Manhattan. He wasn’t a
member, but he’s apparently gone to quite a few church activities.
This man, Peter, was one of those people that looks on the bright side
of life. He kept mentioning how much he loved life and how blessed he
was. He also placed his highest priority on family. His twelve
children are back in New York, and he told me that even though he’s
very poor at the moment and his car needs to be fixed, he’s spending
what money he does have to go back and see his kids for Christmas.
It’s great to know that there are so many great people in this world.
Other than that, there’s not too much news. Thanks for everything
y’all do. I love you!
