It’s been a really great week. I love General Conference! Something
about spending ten hours listening to the Prophet, the Apostles, and
other servants of the Lord just erases any challenges you think you’re
going through. I had some questions answered, and some new plans of
how I can continue improving. We also had an investigator
come to one of the sessions. She could only stay for about three talks,
but that was the first time she’s been to church since I’ve been here.
It was great to see her.
We also had transfer calls this Saturday, and Elder Jackson and I are
both staying. Both of our roommates are staying also, so it doesn’t
really feel like much of a change. It’s funny how sometimes transfers
seem to turn your world upside down, and sometimes they just quietly
pass as if nothing happened.
We did get one surprise though. The El Dorado ward, which is the ward
right next to us, is getting sister missionaries, in addition to the
Elders they already have. Up until now, there haven’t been any sisters
in the entire zone since it was created, so it will be a bit of a
change. It should be good though.
I hope all of you got a lot out of General conference. I love you!
