This week has been great! I really love working with Elder Regan
Jackson. He’s from South Jordan, so it’s a little weird to be with
another Utah companion, but he’s really cool. He truly understands
that he’s out here to help people, and is very people-oriented. He’s
also very supportive as a companion, so I’m excited for a great
transfer. It’s also cool to work with him because I’ve served in his
district before. We were both on the west side of Lancaster for one
transfer, so I already knew who he was.
Another fun part of the week is that I finally reached the point on my
mission where I got sick of cereal, peanut butter and jelly, and Ramen
noodles. So I made penne pasta with miracle whip and grapes. It
reminded me a lot of back home when you would make that for me, Mom.
It wasn’t exactly a complex feast, but it sure tasted better than
