Dear Family-

It has been an incredible week! We found a lot of new people to teach.
I can’t remember if I told you last week, but we were five minutes
early to an appointment, so we pulled over to wait. A guy tapped on our window and asked us if we were Mormon. We
started talking to him and he said that we could come back any time.
We came back this week and to our surprise a member of the old
singles’ branch, Mike, was there. The window-tapper wasn’t there, but
his friend was, so we taught him with Mike.

This week we also picked up two old investigators that had been
dropped. They are next-door neighbors, so it makes it
easy to visit them. They seem like really cool people, but they’re
just kind of hard to get ahold of, so I think that’s why they were
dropped.

I think the greatest experience of the week was on Friday. There’s a
less-active guy in our ward that we’ve been trying to
contact. He has two kids who aren’t members of the church his son
seems pretty interested. He has a lot of questions. We also visit a
guy who is home-bound. Well, these two people live a
couple doors away from each other, so the home-bound man was asked to
be a home teacher for the less-active guy. He invited him over as well
as us and we ended up teaching the Restoration to the less-active guy,
his son, and his daughter in the other guy’s house. The son
especially, was really interested. It was a really great experience
and the family went to a Pioneer Day celebration the next day at the
church. They seemed to have a good time there, so we’re hoping that we
can continue to teach them more.

Thanks for everything that y’all do for me. I love you!

-Elder Emery
